I am really looking forward to Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera at IMMA. Not usually one for art exhibitions but having read and really enjoyed Barbara Kingsolver's The Lacuna I can't wait. She brought Kahlo and Rivera to life. I would recommend reading the book before going to the exhibition.
I'm so looking forward to it too! My Sister in Law works there and they had 3,000 visitors on Saturday - huge for them!! It's free in on Fridays!
ReplyDeleteI can testify to a huge crowd on Sunday as well. The queue was right down the courtyard, but we got in within 15 minutes and it was well worth the wait. If the sun is out bring a picnic, the gardens are just gorgeous at the moment.
